We are hoping that our credit score has improved greatly now that the bankruptcy is off (it was a long 10 years) and we haven't acquired much debt.Kristle

I had a bankruptcy discharged 12/05, and am still struggling to increase my credit score in order to buy a house (not very soon, I suspect). What would be the minimum score I would need?
Also, I am about to start a divorce, and I wonder how long after that ...

I am about $5,000 in debt (NONE OF WHICH IS FROM A CREDIT CARD...I'VE NEVER HAD ONE) and my credit score is a lot lower than I would like it to be. Most of my balance is either medical or utility.

My credit score is at 668 and has not change in a year. I took out loans and paid them off. I am current on all my bills, car, loans, and credit cards. Why hasn't my credit score gone up? Should i pay off my credit cards all at once ...
